A clearer guide to how winning bids work, how the final result is shown, and how to read your bid status after the auction ends.
If the page is difficult to view on your mobile device:
Open Mobile VersionBids are won by the highest bidder, but bids remain anonymous and highest bid values are not reviewed openly during the auction.
You may place the highest bid and win, but you may not need to pay the full highest value you originally placed.
Your bid is only considered successful when it reaches the determined selling price "Reserve Met' or reserve selling price "Reserve Not Met" bid not won even if you are the highest bidder.
If your bid is highest but has not reached the reserve selling price, it may be automatically negotiated using your highest price after the auction.
Check your “Bid” list. On mobile it is on the left bar. On desktop it is on the top bar.
Wait until the auction is fully over and then the bid results will appear.
If you have won a bid, it will normally be highlighted in green and written as “Won”.
If your bids are not showing, the bidding may be closed but the auction may not have ended yet. Select Ended or All.
